Mark leads the strategic direction and operations of the Pomeroy Pacific business. Mark is known for his matchless ability to create ‘the deal’ but also for his appetite for consistent and unrelenting hard work. He is very strategic about the way he works, continually seeking a better way of doing everything for the benefit of the business and our Clients.

Talis Sterns

COO

Talis has nearly 30 years of experience in the property, development and integrated resort industries and now has the major responsibility for the successful delivery of all services and projects for Pomeroy Pacific. Talis understands the importance of long term value based decisions and plays an integral role in assisting clients to unlock maximum value from their projects.

Dino Russo

National Director of Projects

Dino has over 25 years of experience in the construction and development industry, and a lifetime of lessons learnt; From humble beginnings as a tradesman, Dino’s career progression is a function of his enthusiasm, entrepreneurialism and  drive for better understanding and constant improvement. His consulting expertise and commercial approach have cemented him as a leader, facilitator, and mentor, known and respected throughout the industry by consultants, contractors, and clients alike. Dino has worked on many large scale and complex projects, always looking for ways to do things more effectively, whilst providing sound advice and development strategies, constantly adding value to clients, peers and commercial outcomes.

Bobby Fitzsimmons

Executive Director - Queensland

Bobby Fitzsimmons is the Executive Director of Pomeroy Queensland and brings more than 20 years of experience delivering major capital programs and enterprise-wide procurement strategies across aviation, property, government and private sector organisations. He partners with clients to navigate complex commercial environments and unlock value at every stage of the project lifecycle.

Bobby is recognised for his clarity, integrity and collaborative leadership style, with deep expertise in procurement strategy, contract negotiation, commercial risk management and capital project delivery. His disciplined, outcomes-focused approach ensures clients receive risk-adjusted advice and commercially robust solutions that protect value and strengthen project performance from concept to completion.

Dane Laing

Executive Director - South Australia

Dane is the Executive Director of Pomeroy South Australia and brings more than 15 years of experience leading complex infrastructure, operations and project delivery environments across government, health and essential services.

Throughout his career, Dane has built and led high-performing multidisciplinary teams, scaled project delivery capability, and overseen major infrastructure portfolios where governance, accountability and stakeholder confidence are critical. He has extensive experience transforming operational frameworks, simplifying complexity and embedding systems that improve performance, transparency and delivery outcomes at scale.

Dane is known for his people-first, values-driven leadership style and his ability to align strategy with execution. He believes strong culture is a genuine commercial advantage and is passionate about creating environments where people feel empowered, supported and motivated to deliver their best work.

Nicholas Grear

Head of Development

As Head of Development, Nicholas is responsible for sourcing and structuring development opportunities, conducting detailed project feasibilities, applying for and obtaining planning permits and driving the sales and marketing aspects of our client’s developments.

With a determined and positive approach, Nicholas provides efficient and effective solutions and ensures objectives are achieved, to ultimately deliver the best outcome for clients and end users.

Chong Tan

Director of Delivery & Origination

Chong is the Director of Delivery & Origination and brings more than 20 years of experience delivering major building and infrastructure projects across the public and private sectors. He has led complex capital works programs exceeding $2 billion and worked with clients including federal, state and local government agencies, private developers, operators, consultants and contractors to successfully plan, procure, and deliver high-value, high-risk projects.

Chong is recognised for aligning commercial strategy with delivery outcomes, leading high-performing multidisciplinary teams, and guiding projects from feasibility through completion with strong governance and stakeholder focus. He brings sharp commercial acumen and deep expertise in governance and risk management, ensuring opportunities are well-structured and delivered with clarity, accountability, and quality.

Outside of work, Chong maintains an active lifestyle and values the discipline and balance it brings. He is actively involved in coaching his son’s basketball team, where he enjoys fostering teamwork, resilience, and confidence in young players while giving back to the community.

Vlora Thaqi

Associate Director, Sector Lead Aviation

Vlora is an Associate Director at Pomeroy Pacific and Sector Lead for Melbourne Airport (APAM), driving sector growth, client strategy and team performance across a complex infrastructure portfolio. She has a strong understanding of APAM’s governance, risk and commercial environment, delivering projects aligned with stakeholder expectations. Known for her clear, pragmatic leadership, Vlora focuses on building high-performing teams and achieving commercially sound outcomes.
