Pomeroy Pacific is a leading project management consultancy delivering education, commercial, residential and community infrastructure projects across Victoria.

We’re looking for an Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander person to join our team as a Project Management Cadet.

This is an opportunity to work alongside experienced Project Managers and gain practical exposure to the planning, development and delivery of major projects across Victoria.

This opportunity is ideally suited to someone with a trade background, construction industry experience, or current studies in a property, construction, engineering, architecture or project management related field who is looking to develop a career in project management.

What You’ll Do

• Work alongside experienced Project Managers on real projects.
• Attend project and client meetings.
• Participate in site visits and project inspections.
• Assist with project planning, reporting and coordination.
• Learn how projects move from concept through to completion.
• Build relationships with clients, consultants, contractors and stakeholders.
• Develop practical skills and experience in project management and property development.

About You

We’d love to hear from you if you:

  • Identify as Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander.
  • Have completed Year 12 or equivalent.
  • Have a trade qualification, construction industry experience, or are currently studying in a property, construction, engineering, architecture or project management related discipline.
  • Have strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Are organised, reliable and eager to learn.
  • Are interested in building a long-term career in project management.
  • Are willing to travel to project sites across metropolitan and regional Victoria when required.

Desirable

• Current driver’s licence.
• White Card, or willingness to obtain one.
• Experience using Microsoft Office applications.
